In June 19 59, at the first American national exhibition that was organized in Moscow, First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Nikita Khrushchev was invited by the American Vice-President Richard Nixon to have a glass of Pepsi-Cola. Twenty years later Pepsi-Cola was sold all over the Soviet Union leaving competitor Coca-Cola behind.
